Tonights program at Inland Motorsport Speedway features the first IMS Firecracker Derby Championship.

Mike Faria won the Main Event, but my friend Eddie Castro came close to winning it, on MY motorcycle, the infamous Satan's Kitten. Ironically, Mike Faria was riding her a couple of weeks prior.

Eddie made it into the Main Event by winning an exciting, come from behind Last Chance Qualifier. He stole the gate in the Main but another rider fell on the first lasp (Tyson Burmeister) the red flag fell and Eddie didn't fare as well on the restart. Mike went on to win.

Nicky Reimer won the Pee Wee Main. Youth Main was won by Bradley Wilson. Third Division was won by Geof Herkner and the Second Division Main was won by Josh Abbott!
