Ken Maely is a Speedway icon. We was known as the "Hot Shoe Man" as he made the steel slide shoes for all the top dirt trackers and speedway stars of his long era. Ken passed away a few years ago and tonight we get to remember a guy that helped a lot of speedway riders learn their craft at Ken's private track.

This event has a very talented eleven year-old boy winning the 500CC Speedway Sprint Main Event! John Aden, the guy that built most of these racecars, finished first place in Intermediate Sprint driving his number 6 sprinter. At least one fist was shook in direction before completing all laps!
